An Eventful Evening and an Early Morning

Before I start this post I think I should write a quick recap of what happened last night. If you read my post yesterday you will know I finally managed to catch a finned fish, the Ocean Sunfish, Well at around 7:30 yesterday night I decided to have one last play in Milton when I noticed another large fish (this time without a fin). I quickly switched from my bug net to my rod and walked slowly to the riverbank. I cast off and waited until it finally tugged on the line. I shook the remote as fast as I could and pulled it up… NO WAY!… Today really was a GREAT day to fish! I was shocked to see that I had reeled in an Arapaima! This morning I caught an ocean giant and now I had just caught the largest river fish in City Folk!

Here’s a picture I snapped just after I reeled the beast in:

And the luck didn’t end there. After I donated the fish to the museum I took the bus to the City for one last check of the day. After zipping in and out of all the buildings I reached the HRA and to my surprise my Asian inspired room was the model room!

I even managed to make Lyle (Slightly) happy so he did his cute little dance :D

I took the short journey back to Milton and just as I was about to save Melba ran up to me. I talked to her and she told me how she was thinking about leaving Milton. NO! Not Melba, One of the only villagers I actually like in Milton! I told her not to leave and she agreed to think it over. I guess I’ll have to wait and see how all that turns out.

WOW! This ‘quick’ recap really didn’t turn out as quick as I would of liked, I think I got a bit carried away. :D Anyway back to the main story, that doesn’t seem quite as ‘main’ as it should anymore…

To tell you the truth I really didn’t want to start up Animal Crossing this morning in case Melba was going to move. But I realised I might as well say one last goodbye than avoid the game all day and never talk to her again. I searched Milton all morning with no luck but she wasn’t in her house. I guessed she must have left early.

Well there was no point getting upset over something I couldn’t change so I quickly changed into my guards uniform to hide my mistake of a hair-do and went fossil hunting. I found 1 fossil and 7 Gyroids down in the lower acres of town then I headed over to the museum to donate my discoveries. I already had the fossil so I continued down to the Roost to hand my Gyroids over to Brewster for storage. Yet again no luck I already had all of them in storage. I was just about to leave the Roost when I noticed a slight movement in the corner of the screen. I took a few steps backwards and to my relief it was Melba! Does this mean she cant leave today? Does this mean she can stay? I don’t know, all that I do know is the coffee I sipped with her sure tasted good!

.

Okay, so I had finished two of todays goals, talk to Melba and search the town for dig spots, So what was next? Oh yeah! My hair! I was so happy that Melba was still in town I completely forgot. I slowly left the museum and stood in the doorway searching for villagers then I sprinted to the bus stop in hopes no one would notice my hair hidden away under the helmet. I made it and caught the bus to the city!

I arrived and noticed Phineas was stood with his cart once again, I began to walk towards him then stopped myself, No Liam, Hair! So I turned and ran to Shampoodles after a few snips from her scissors it was finished. Wow! I finally got a (slightly) above average haircut!

Thanks for reading another one of my posts and I hope you continue to in the future, Im really grateful  :)

Not so good, Not So Bad day

Well, I woke up this morning and I had serious bedhead. But a quick change into a witch hat and… I AM HARRY POTTER! :O

.

Now that really is magic! :D

After a little bit of a walk around Milton (Which was now full of weeds…) I found a new villager, Dotty.

Great! shes only just arived and she already knows my stupid nickname! -_-

And after a quick look at the map I noticed another new villager, Clyde, the mustard coloured horse! Who asked me to get him a piranah, I accepted as I didnt want to upset him on his first day but Im not going to get him one. He’ll forget about it soon enough. :D

Next I decided to try my hand at fishing. At first all I caught was a sweetfish here and a goldfish there… but then I saw it! A fin and a very large shaddow! It had to be a shark in all my years playing I’ve only ever seen one and I screwed up catching it. I steddied myself and slowly walked to the beach, cast off and waited for it to bite. Then… PLOOP! Using my ninja like reflexes I shook the wiimote as fast as I could and watched as the fin began to circle the bait. C’mon, c’mon, SPLASH! I caught it, I actually caught it! But it wasnt a shark it was an Ocean Sunfish. oh well thats still pretty good! :D

I donated the monster to the museum and headed to the bus stop to sort out my mess of a hair-do. After a quick shoe shine (Eugh they turned out aweful) and a trip to Phineas I ran over to Shampoodles.

NOOO! I messed up the questions and ended up with this!

So to conclude I now have a crappy hair-do and a pair of geeky black shoes, But on the bright side I did catch an Ocean Sunfish. :)

Thanks for reading this and I will write about my adventures in Milton again soon!

Morning Milton

Before I continue this post I must apologize for not updating  the blog in a while (due to school exams) but Im back now.  Yesterday I started up the game at about 11:30 am (very early for me as I normally play around 3:00 ish) I was very surprised to find there weren’t many weeds and even more surprised to find I had 10 dig-spots along the beach. two were pitfalls, 7 were gyroids and 1 was a fossil.

  .

When I finished digging everything up I headed to the Museum to give the Gyroids to Brewster, and found that 5 of the gyroids hadn’t been found before, but I had already found the fossil. I sold everything left in my pockets and headed to the river, I figured today must have been my lucky day so I tryed my hand at fishing… then I realised it wasnt my lucky day. But it wasnt all bad I did catch a Piranha which I later donated to the Museum.

  .

I was just about to save and quit when I saw a Birdwing by the holding pond, I couldn’t resist I equipped my net, chased it and caught it!

.

I checked the beach one more time when I noticed a new villager, Harry. I hate him!

.

I wasn’t terrified, Just disgusted by him…

Golden Wallpaper, Golden Day :)

I was playing quite early this morning and as I left my house Pete was outside to greet me  with the newest DLC, the Golden Wallpaper.

I was making my daily rounds and I was just about to check the Able sisters as I have been searching for the Fireman Hat for a few weeks now when I noticed a new villager had moved in today, Nate.

He seemed quite nice until he said this,

Now he creeps me out a little…

After half an hour I had completed my rounds, so I decided to visit some other towns. Ana from Kingdom had her gate open so I payed her a visit. I love being in Ana’s town as it is full of flowers which means its brimming with butterflies, making it easier to complete my bug collection and of corse it looks beautiful!

Later I went to Cailin’s Town which has even more flowers than Ana’s town, which is hardly possible! and I stayed there for a few hours too with her, James, Kaitlyn and Autumn came just as I was leaving.

Cloudy With A Chance Of…. Nothing?!

It was cloudy all day today in Milton, but not one single drop of rain. I was a little disappointed seeing the town hidden away under a blanket of shaddow, and the chore of watering my flowers just seemed to rub it in a little bit more.

So I spent about half an hour watering my flowers and then I checked if any gates were open, Sure enough a few were, so I visited towns for about two hours, swapping and changing between them.

But overall it was a boring day today in Milton, hopefully tomorrow will be more eventful!
